Thermoforming is a hot moulding technique applied to sheets of various materials, including ABS, impact-resistant polystyrene, methacrylate, polycarbonate, polystyrene blends and polypropylene.

The production process

The production process begins with the creation of moulds based on a drawing or sample provided by the client. Vacuum forming allows the plastic sheet, once it reaches the ideal temperature, to soften and adhere perfectly to the mould using a vacuum, taking on its shape.

After this step, the sheet is cooled, hardens again into the desired shape, and is removed from the machine. The piece is then cut and finished with robotic CNC cutting, programmed by our qualified personnel based on a client-supplied design or created by our modellers.
